Press Metal Berhad production outputs totalled 20,000 metric tonnes of aluminium extrusions and 40,000 metric tonnes of secondary aluminium billets.

Press Metal Berhad acquired Alcom Extrusion, a division of Alcan in Malaysia, which has output capacity of 8,000 metric tonnes per annum. Combined with its output capacity, Press Metal Berhad became the largest producer of aluminium extrusion in Malaysia and South East Asia.

Press Metal Berhad established its new corporate office at Jalan Kapar in Klang, Malaysia.
2005
Press Metal Berhad relocated its major production facility to China by establishing a new aluminium extrusion plant at Foshan City in Guangdong Province, China that has capacity to produce 150,000 metric tonnes of aluminium extrusion per annum.
2006
Press Metal Berhad acquired a smelting plant at Qianjiang City in Hubei Province, China that has
capacity to produce 100,000 metric tonnes of aluminium ingots and aluminium billets.
2007
The proposal for the Mukah Plant Development was approved by the Sarawak State Authority in which Press Metal Berhad would set up the Malaysia’s first aluminium smelting plant in Mukah, Sarawak. The initial aluminium smelting operation was targeted to commence by first quarter
2009 and with smelting capacity to produce 300,000 metric tonnes per annum upon completion of
subsequent developments.
