Press Metal Berhad (“PMB”) via its 80% owned subsidiary Press Metal Sarawak Sdn. Bhd. is an aluminium smelting plant in Mukah, the central region of Sarawak, Malaysia. Built upon approximately 366 hectares or 905 acres of land, its primary focus will be on major heavy industrial manufacturing development in Sarawak, Malaysia.
1st phase smelting capacity of 100,000 metric tonnes per annum is currently under construction and will commence operations in mid 2009
Final capacity : Smelting capacity of 300,000 metric tonnes per annum by 2010 / 2011
Aluminium extrusion capacity of 100,000 metric tonnes per annum will be installed
