Press Metal Berhad set up its Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC) manufacturing plant to collect the aluminium sludge (S204) from aluminium anodizing and waste water treatment plants for the manufacturing of water treatment chemical, PAC. The aluminium sludge which is a scheduled waste is controlled by the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005.
